Thursday :

Our Church is known for the Novena of Child Jesus on Thursdays. On Thursdays there are three masses at 5:30 Am, 11:00Am and 6:30 Pm. Many people from this surrounding villages attend and get the child Jesus blessings. Since most of the devotees for 11 Am mass are from outside parishes and neighboring villages blessed food is given for all the devotees those who partake in the novena. In the evening, there is a car procession around our church. Around 300 devotees for the morning mass, 600 devotees in the noon and 500 devotees for evening mass are participating.

In all three masses at the end we apply blessed Olive oil on the forehead of the faithful. The faithful are having the faith experience, receive their intentions and many miracles are happening in our Church.

Friday :

On Fridays Novena of Divine Jesus is conducted. It starts with Eucharistic Adoration at 12 Pm. They adore the Lord for two hours in it they mediate the seven sorrows of our lady, conduct the Divine mercy Novena and pray for various intentions. At 2’O Clock there is a Eucharistic celebration. Around 100 people participate in it.

Full Night Prayer :

Once in three months there is a special full night prayer is organized. Many people from different villages and religion participate in this special event.

Saturday :

On Saturdays Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help is conducted before the Eucharistic Celebration.

Full Moon Day :

Every month the day of full moon is a very special day for our parish. We honour our Patroness on that day. We have a special mass after which we have car procession of our Lady of Sorrows. The car goes through the important streets of our villages. At the end of the car procession there is a special healing prayer service.

First Friday :

Every first Friday morning we give communion to the old and sick people. Almost we give communion for 40 faithful. In the evening, there is a solemn Eucharistic celebration. Thereafter Eucharistic Lord is carried in procession around our church. Finally it concludes with Healing prayer service. During service a separate priest is arranged to give the sacrament of Confession for the faithful.

Sunday :

On Sunday evenings we have novena to our Risen Lord followed by Holy Mass. After the mass there is a Healing prayer service. At the end we apply blessed Olive oil on the forehead of the faithful. Preparation for Parish Feast Unlike other parishes, we prepare ourselves spiritually for our parish feast. We say rosary for 40 days before our parish feast. It starts at 9’O Clock in the evening and ends around 10 Pm. The same method is followed for those who are preparing themselves to make pilgrimage to Our Lady of Velanganni Church either by foot or by vehicles.

Mass at Streets :

During Lenten season, there is a separate mass in all the streets of our parish. On that day people are given opportunity to receive sacrament of healing at the end there is a Holy mass. It really helps the people to come closer to the lord during the season.
